Directions to Ciao Venice Guest House

Ciao Venice has the most convenient location in Venice because it is very close to the main bus and train stations and the major things to see are within easy walking distance.  Even if you are carrying luggage, it is easy to reach Ciao Venice on foot and we provide good directions:

On foot from the bus station in the Piazzale Roma, Venice

The Piazzale Roma is a large open area with parking garages and the main bus station in Venice.  Ciao Venice Guest House is less than a ten-minute walk from the Piazzale Roma.  In the Piazzale Roma, near the bus company's (ATVO) ticket office, there is a large modern steel and glass bridge.  Cross over the bridge, walk straight until you see the main train station on your left and follow the directions that continue below.

On foot from the main train station, Ferrovia Santa Lucia, Venice

When you exit the main train station, Ferrovia Santa Lucia, you will be facing the Grand Canal. Walk to your left about one block until you reach the large marble bridge that crosses the Grand Canal. Go over the bridge, walk straight, and make your second left. Go over a small bridge and continue walking straight into a small square called the Campo Santo. Walk toward and along the left side of the church (San Simeone Profeta). Go under the covered portico, walk straight, and then make a right and walk along the back side of the church. Make a left onto the street called the Lista Vecchia dei Bari. Walk down this street and on the left side you will pass a hotel called the Albergo Doge and the Trattoria Pizzeria all' Anfora. Across from the Trattoria, make the next right onto the Ramo Quarto Gallion ai Scalini. Make your first right and go to the third door. The number 1149 is painted in red above the door. Ring the bell next to the sign for Ciao Venice and welcome!
